Plant native to Latin America, Verbena odorosa is cultivated in all countries of the Mediterranean basin for the delicious aroma that its leaves give off.
We take the utmost care in the cultivation of our aromatic herbs and lemon verbena is no exception. In full respect of nature and people, all our plants are grown in an absolutely natural way, without the aid of chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers.
Verbena leaves are harvested by hand in spring, before flowering. The leaves are subsequently dried with the aid of special tunnels with controlled ventilation and temperature. The temperature never exceeds 43°, so as to keep the properties and active principles of the plant intact.
Finally they are shredded and packaged. The Verbena herbal tea is now ready to be enjoyed. Its unmistakable lemon taste will win you over.
Infusion . Take a teaspoon of lemon verbena leaves and a cup of water (250 ml). Bring the water to a boil, then turn it off and pour a teaspoon of leaves, leaving them to rest for about 8-10 minutes. Then the herbal tea is filtered and drunk hot or warm.
