: agrimoniae herba, angelicae radix, anisi stellati fructus, aurantii pericarpium dulcis, aurantii pericarpium amari, cardui benedicti herba, carlianae acaulis radix, caryphylli flos, centaurii herba, chamomillae anthodium, cubebae fructus, galangae radix, gentianae rhizoma et radix, liquiritiae rh izoma et radix, manna, menthae piperitae folium, myristicae semen, myrrha, rosmarini folium, trifoliifibrini folium, verbasci folium, zedoriae rhizoma, zingiberis rhizoma.
Instructions for use
The mixture of Swedish herbs will be macerated in 1.5 liters of distillate (grappa, vodka, gin or other alcoholic distillate) at 40°C, in a wide-necked bottle, for 14-15 days in the sun or near a heat source. It is important to shake it well every day and also before filtering it for decanting into a smaller bottle and again, every time before using its contents.
Swedish Amaro can be stored in a cupboard, or in a place protected from direct light for many years. It is said that the more you rest, the more its effect increases.
It is possible to drink it by diluting it in water, or in a herbal tea, or even in a fruit juice. The alcohol present in bitters is essential for its correct preservation
If there is a need for an alcohol-free bitter, it can be diluted in a herbal tea, or boiling water. Just bring the water to the boil, turn off the heat and add a spoonful of Swedish Amaro. Leave to infuse for a few minutes so that the alcohol evaporates.
