Fennel seeds, Herbal tea 60g

Description

Fennel seeds are small very aromatic seeds, obtained from Foeniculum vulgare and widely used in the kitchen as a condiment and flavor enhancer as well as to prepare herbal teas and infusions.

All of our fennel plants are grown 100% naturally, without the use of chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, or chemical fertilizers. The cultivation is in our lands, in the countryside of Fermo, in Italy.

The fennel umbrellas and therefore the seeds are harvested by hand in the summer, between August and September, when they take on a dark-brown colour. After harvesting the precious fennel umbrellas, we proceed with sieving and drying, with temperatures not exceeding 43°, so as to keep the precious organoleptic properties of the seed unaltered.

Usage tips

Infusion . A teaspoon of fennel seeds is used for a cup of boiling water (250 ml). The seeds are poured into boiling water and left to rest for 10 minutes. Then it is filtered and drunk.
