Melilot is a biennial plant of the Leguminosa family, which grows spontaneously throughout Italy, in uncultivated fields, in hedges, in meadows and even along the roads.
It blooms in June with beautiful yellow flowers with a very pleasant smell.
The flowers of this plant are used above all, considered by the popular medicine to be excellent blood thinner, suitable for toning capillaries, veins and arteries and to prevent cardiovascular diseases.
Infusion. Use a teaspoon of sweet flowers for a cup of boiling water. The flowers are poured into the boiling water and left to stand for 10 minutes. Then it is filtered and served.
Drink 2 to 4 cups a day.
