It is easily recognized by the unmistakable light trunk. For this medicinal plant, the sap, the bark and the leaves are used for medicinal purposes.
In traditional medicine, birch leaves are considered a diuretic and depurative remedy, very useful for eliminating excess fluids and as a supplement to those who are following a weight loss diet.
Infusion. Take a teaspoon of birch leaves per cup of water. Bring the water to a boil, then turn off and pour over the dried leaves, make it steep for 10 minutes. Strain off the herbs and serve. Recommended to drink 2 to 4 cups of birch infusion a day.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool and dry place.
