Moroccan tea is a mixture of green and mint tea with a thirst-quenching and refreshing action. The Bedouins of North Africa have been drinking it for centuries to better withstand the torrid heat of those areas.
The chicory root, toasted and handled, can be used in the moka instead of the classic espresso coffee and for centuries, even long before the advent of coffee. Chicory does not contain caffeine and is highly appreciated for its detoxifying properties.
